Milow the Girl Days Of Power Tour To Raise Awareness For The Humane Society Of The United States Pup
2010.09.09
Realize Records Swiss recording artist Milow the Girl is set to launch her “Days of Power” tour on September 23rd. The singer’s CD release held in Los Angeles was the first in a series of shows dedicated to raising awareness and educating people about the horrors of puppy mills.Puppy mills house dogs in shockingly poor conditions. After their fertility wanes, breeding animals are often killed, abandoned or sold cheaply to another mill to try and get ’one more litter’ out of the dog. They continue to thrive because they prey on unwitting consumers who are smitten by too-cute-for-words puppies in pet store windows and on seemingly legitimate websites. The Days of Power tour begins with dates in Cambridge, MA, Philadelphia, PA, Wilmington, DE, Baltimore, MD, New York, NY, Salisbury, MD, Atlanta, GA, Miami, FL and Toronto, Canada. The West Coast tour begins later this year with the final US leg ending in the Midwest in states that are home to the largest puppy mills. “I am excited to be launching the “Days of Power” tour in the states and I hope that we bring attention to this issue to eventually put an end to the puppy mills.” states Milow the Girl
